Alice Karran - Manager

Alice has worked in Milton Grange for over 5 years and has been in Management for over 20 years. Alice has been a Registered Nurse for 33 and has worked in varied settings over the years including Elderly care, Dementia, Learning disabilities and Mental Health. Having worked in both the NHS and private sector Alice has a wide understanding of the needs of both sectors and how the Health and Social Care Partnership work together.

Her qualifications include SQV4 Management Award, Certificate in Dementia Mapping, Understanding Autism, among other qualifications. Alice works closely with all external agencies to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.

Alice believes in creating a homely environment within Milton Grange, creating a home from home where families are welcome at all times and are encouraged to be involved in the home.

Anne McAleer- Administrator

Anne has worked with the company for a few years now and is the Administrator within Milton Grange.

Anne deals with contracts and invoicing queries as well as advising families regarding Skype, facebook etc as a way of communicating with their loved ones.

Ann deals with all queries from families regarding finances and administrative issues

Laura Cowan-Activities

Laura is employed within Milton Grange to ensure that the social aspect of the resident’s lives is maintained. Laura spends time with the residents finding out what their likes and dislikes are regarding activity and then builds a programme of activity that meets all needs of engagement. She organises outings, entertainment and fundraising for the home.

Jen Gibb - Chef

Jen Gibb has recently been appointed as Head Chef of Milton Grange care home. She has vast experience in the catering industry and a great addition to the team.

Lis Taylor - Team Leader

Lis has worked at Milton Grange for 17 years and is responsible for Person Centred care planning within the Care Home.
